Play School Presents offers drama and creative writing classes for
students who are new to the world of theater!

About Director Cristi Lewis
Cristi Lewis began her creative journey as a child--writing, directing, and acting in her own plays every summer with her mother and friends. She brings that same imaginative, student-directed energy to her classes.

Cristi has 15 years of experience in education--in public and private school classrooms, as well as her own homeschool setting. She has had the opportunity to develop new theater programs for both schools and homeschool co-ops in Springfield and central Illinois. She has degrees in journalism and English literature with experience in writing and editing.

Cristi specializes in gentle introductions into the world of theater for beginning students... and in a full-circle moment often writes her own scripts to match the needs of her class. 

About Musical Director Julia Lewis 
Julia Lewis has her music theory degree from Eureka College and has almost a decade's experience performing in musical theater.  She owns her own music studio for beginning piano and voice students.  She has a passion for writing, working on both a young adult novel, and creating new music and songs for Play School Presents.
