Summer Mackinaw Community Theater Production
The Prince's Bride: a parody
This swashbuckling tale of princesses, pirates, and swordfighters is a parody of the classic movie. We are looking for 12-16 actors to take on this 45-minute play.
REHEARSALS: Wednesdays 12:30-1:30, starting June 11
Some actors may be asked to come in for scene rehearsals on Monday or Thursday afternoons on select weeks, or to come early Wednesdays. The last week of July will include extra rehearsals.
We are hoping to perform August 1 or 2.
Auditions: Wednesday, June 4, 1-3 pm (cold reading auditions; please tell us you are coming by emailing playschoolpresents@gmail.com . You can also request a copy of the script at that time)
Please also send a video audition to the above email if you would like to be considered for a main character.
Cast members will be asked to contribute $35-$50 to our Rental Fee fund (depending on number of people in the cast) to help with production and venue costs, and to work in coordination with the director to create their costume.

Develop your acting skills through instruction, games and creative projects. You may join at any point in the summer for this class, or come only to the dates that work in your schedule. (Minimum class size: 4 students) Email playschoolpresents@gmail.com to register.
Writers Workshop
Are you interested in helping us write a musical based on The Wonderful Wizard of Oz? We will have an informal group that will meet every other week at Mrs. Cristi's house in Mackinaw to put together our fall script. Ages: 12+. Time to be decided. Generations: Mystery of the Stolen Shadow, a one-act play
The children of popular fairy tale characters Peter Pan and Wendy, Little Red Riding Hood, the Three Bears, the Queen of Hearts, and Cinderella all feature in this comedic mystery.
Auditions week of June 1, this script is primarily for student actors ages 7-12, but older and younger students may join
Weekly practices with performance August 1
$90 for 9-weeks, 1 hour classs.
