Teen Writers Workshop: Wizard of Oz
Are you interested in helping us write a musical based on The Wonderful Wizard of Oz? We will work together to write scenes, develop plot, and learn how to integrate the music. This is the script we will use for our winter/spring production! Ages: 13+.
*This class includes homework of writing scenes in a shared Google document. In-person classtime will be used to plan and edit already written work.
Alternating:

Second Act Players Performance Group (Homeschool)
"Generations: Mystery of the Stolen Shadow," The Legend of Pyramus and Thisbe, Musical Revue, and Original Scenes
Thursdays 11-12, Mackinaw
Develop your acting skills through instruction, rehearsal and creative group projects. This fall we will explore Shakespearean comedy with a scene from Midsummer Night's Dream and a children's theater one-act that mixes up fairy tale characters such as Peter Pan and Wendy, Little Red, the Three Bears and Cinderella in a comedic mystery.
We will perform in late November in a celebration for family and friends that shows off all the scenes and skills we've learned! For ages 8+.

Theater Games (Homeschool)
Explore your theater skills with fun and creative games! We'll work in groups and as a class to explore theater skills in a little more detail than our regular performance class.

Junior Drama Club (ages 4-8)
Develop your acting and music skills through fun games and low-pressure, customized instruction. Unlock your creativity! You may come to only days you are available. Parents may attend with our youngest students or those who need assistance. All abilities and neurotypes welcome. For ages 4-8.
Thursdays, 10:30-11 a.m., Sept 25-Nov 13 (no class Oct 23 or 30)
$7/class or $42 for all 6 sessions
After School Drama Club (ages 5 and up)
Develop your acting, music, and movement skills through fun games and low-pressure, customized instruction. You may come to only days you are available, but those who come every week will get to work on rehearsing scenes for a parent performance. (Parents of those 12 and under are asked to volunteer on rotation as an aide in class.) For ages 5-11 and 12-18
Mackinaw, Mondays 4-5 p.m.
$10/class (prepaid early), or $12/class (as you go)

Off to Oz: A musical retelling of the story of Dorothy, Glinda, and the Wicked Witch (this production will be open to all ages to audition and will rehearse Thursdays 11-12 and perform in spring), Look for more information about upcoming auditions on Dec 11, 2025.
