In-person Auditions: Thursday, Aug 27, 11-1 (please prepare a Christmas carol to sing if you would like to be in our musical group; students will be asked to read from the scripts; you may also submit a video audition)

Time: Thursdays 11 a.m.-11:45 a.m. (rehearsal) and 11:45-Noon (theater games) in Mackinaw
Performance: Saturday, Nov 21, 6 p.m.
The Mackinaw Royal(ish) Players are set to perform Shakespeare's greatest scenes, but perhaps needed a little more practice, as the play turns into a true comedy of errors!

TEEN MUSICAL PERFORMANCE GROUP

Join the Ensemble for our junior performance! We will learn traditional Christmas songs and carols with choreography.

JUNIOR PERFORMANCE GROUP: A Christmas One Act
Ages 6-12 everyone who auditions is in the cast (teens may audition for speaking roles but no guarantee of casting)
Time: Thursdays 12-12:45 (rehearsal), 12:45-1 (theater games)
Performance: the week of Nov 16, details TBD
This show will highlight our beginning students in the speaking roles, with most of our older students in the musical ensemble.

WRITERS WORKSHOP: PETER PAN
Join us for a collaborative effort to write our own musical adaptation of the story of Peter Pan. We are hoping to complete the script in time to present it as our main show this spring!
Students will be asked to write scenes at home in a shared Google document. We will read these in class and brainstorm/plan. Students are welcome to bring a packed lunch to this class (if they are involved in earlier classes), as well as a device to write on if they own one.
Ages: 12+ (ages 10-11 with special permission)
Time: Thursdays 1-1:45 p.m.
